Experience
Dr Park graduated from The University of Auckland and began Anatomical Pathology training at Auckland Hospital, NZ. On completion of Anatomical Pathology training in 2010, Kyung started as an Anatomical Pathologist at Western Diagnostic Pathology in Perth, developing interests in breast, Skin and Gl pathology. Following a move to Sydney, he was appointed as the Director of Anatomical Pathology at Medlab Pathology and subsequently became the Director of Histopathology and Cytopathology at Capital Pathology in Canberra. Kyung has 10 years of experience as an Anatomical Pathology Director and has extensive experience in Skin, Gl Gynaecologic and Breast Pathology. Dr Kyung has also been involved in Gastrointestinal multidisciplinary meetings for the last 10 year.
Interests
With Kyung’s vast knowledge in pathology management, he sits on a number of committees at RCA and TGA including Therapeutic Goods Administration Statutory Advisory Committee on Medical Devices and Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia Board of Professional Practice and Quality.
Kyung is interested in quality processes and is a current member of RCPA QAP cytology committee. His subspeciality interests include skin pathology and gastrointestinal pathology and he has been a designated pathologist for Gl and melanoma MDTs in Perth and Canberra. Kyung is passionate about cancer prevention and has been a media spokesperson for Australian Cervical Cancer Foundation.
